The section of road in the vicinity of the Paynes Bay Fish Market will be closed on Wednesday, April 28, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., as part of the ongoing road works associated with the Highway 1 Rehabilitation Project.

The Ministry of Transport, Works and Water Resources (MTWW) said this closure was to facilitate the installation of a culvert by contractor for that section of the project, Arthur Construction.

Residents are kindly asked to use alternative routes where possible, and to follow the instructions of the traffic wardens deployed in the specific areas.

The Ministry apologises for any inconvenience which may be caused, and thanks the public for its patience. (BGIS)
