7 new COVID cases, 9 discharged

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory reported seven new positive cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, April 27.

The three females and four males were identified from among the 317 tests conducted.

Meanwhile, nine people recovered from the virus and were discharged.  There are currently 96 people in isolation.

Since March 2020, confirmed cases of COVID-19 reached 3 838 (1 870 females and 1 968 males) and 3 759 people recovered.  The number of deaths from the viral illness remains at 44.

To date, the public health laboratory has conducted 152 716 tests.

A total of 73 808 vaccinations were administered to 30 461 men and 43 347 women under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19. (BGIS)
