Two on murder charge to reappear on May 31

Two men charged with murder were remanded to HMP Dodds when they appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes as the District ‘A’ Criminal Court on Monday.

Jeremiah Sellasie Bartlett, 19, of Block 3 A Fernihurst and 21-year-old Ashari Zidane Agard of 5D Neptune Road, Deacons Farm, both in St Michael, were charged with the murder of Shaquan Robert Joseph.

The 19-year-old of President Kennedy Drive was shot and killed on April 10 at Mayers Land, Richmond.

Both were also charged for the offence of use of fiream and Agard had the additional charge of possession of ammunition.

Bartlett and Agard were not required to plead to the indictable offence and are scheduled to reappear on May 31. (PR/SAT)
