Four new virus cases, 42 in isolation

Four new positive cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) – one female and three males – were identified on Tuesday, May 25, from among the 565 tests carried out by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

There are now 42 people in isolation.

Barbados has now recorded 4,004 confirmed COVID-19 cases (1,934 females and 2,070 males). The death toll from the viral illness is 47.

The public health laboratory has conducted 167,591 tests to date.

A total of 76,523 people have been vaccinated under the National Vaccination Programme, with 56,691 people receiving both doses of the vaccine.
