More open days for coronavirus vaccines

More open days will be held this week for people who have not yet received their second dose of the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine.

The Immunisation Unit of the Ministry of Health and Wellness announced that Wednesday, May 26; Thursday, May 27, and Friday, May 28, will be designated as open days for all persons who received their first dose before April 1, 2021.

On Wednesday, the locations are Sandals Conference Centre, Maxwell Coast Road, Christ Church; the St Philip Polyclinic, Six Cross Roads, St Philip; the clinic at the David Thompson Health and Social Services Complex, Glebe Land, St John, and the Winston Scott Polyclinic, Jemmotts Lane, St Michael.

On Thursday, the open days will be held at Sandals Conference Centre; the St Joseph Branch Library, Eric Holder Jr Municipal Complex at Blackman’s, St Joseph; the St Philip Polyclinic, and the David Thompson Health and Social Services Complex.

Open day sessions will conclude on Friday, at the Sandals Conference Centre; the Barbados Investment and Development Corporation (BIDC), Building No. 2, Harbour Road, St Michael, and the Winston Scott Polyclinic. The open days run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.

Clients should take their blue vaccination cards. (PR)
