Three new virus cases

Three new positive cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) – one man and two women – were reported by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory on Friday, May 28, out of the 729 tests conducted.

The number of people in isolation is now 41.

Confirmed COVID-19 cases since March 2020 have reached 4 012 (1 939 women and 2 073 men) and there have been 47 deaths.

The public health laboratory has carried out 169 633 tests since February 2020.

The number of people who have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine is 60 139. They are among 77 823 people who have been immunised under the National Vaccination Programme. (BGIS)
