Overseas-based players Krystian Pearce and Hallam Hope arrived in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic late Sunday night to join the Barbados senior men’s national football team ahead of the second round of the Concacaf FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifiers.

In the absence of national captain Rashad Jules, both Pearce 31, and Hope 27, will add to a 24-member squad mixed with experience and youth.

Russell Latapy’s Tridents are set to have their first training session today around 4 p.m.

Barbados, who currently sit in third position in Group D, will play the host nation on June 4 and Dominica on June 8 at the Felix Sanchez Olympic Stadium. (AGB)
