Trainer Saffie Joseph Jr delivered a hat-trick through Tik Tok Famous, Chao and Malibu Max at Gulfstream Park in Florida during Monday’s public holiday in the United States.

Joseph, who also had a beaver trick on Saturday and a brace on Sunday, now has 35 wins for the season and is on track to capture a fifth trainer’s title, with a widening lead of 22 wins on his nearest challenger, Canadian champion trainer Mark Casse.

Joseph won race 4 on Tik Tok Famous as the three-year-old bay filly powered home by four and a quarter lengths in 1:27.24 minutes.

She carved all the running to hand in her maiden certificate in the Maiden Special Weight seven-and-a half-furlong sprint on the turf.
