Friends of Duane Ryan Harris remembered him yesterday as a selfless, caring individual, with some left puzzled by his death.

According to a police report, Harris, 37, a roofer who worked in his family’s business, was discovered hanging in a bedroom at his Bagatelle Terrace, St Thomas home on Wednesday by a close family member.

Chris Alleyne, a mental health professional, said he was very sad that he could not help his lifelong friend.

“We reached out to him all the time, and all he would say is ‘I good’. He is such a light and a bright, cheerful person. You would never think that this could happen to him. So many people can’t believe he is gone. (RA)
