One new COVID case on Friday

A female is the lone person to test positive for COVID-19 on Friday, June 4, from the 557 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

There are now 30 people in isolation.

Confirmed COVID-19 cases reached 4 030, comprising 1 950 females and 2 080 males since March last year.  Forty-seven lives were lost to the virus.

The public health laboratory conducted 172 967 tests.

Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, 82 310 people received a first dose of the vaccine, 61 178 received the second dose and are now fully vaccinated against the virus. (BGIS)
