The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) said it was responding to a number of bursts on mains in St Lucy, St James and St Thomas.

The BWA said it will make every effort to assist residents in the affected areas via water tankers as a temporary measure.

The Authority said it was working on a suspected four-inch burst main at Fosters, as well as Pickering and River Bay in St Lucy.

In addition, the BWA said it will be conducting investigative work regarding low pressure in Sea View, St James, as well as Airy Cot in St Thomas.

As a result, some districts may experience low pressure or water outages, the authority said.
