One new virus case, 26 people in isolation

One person, a man, was identified as positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) from the 359 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory on Sunday, June 6.

Twenty-six people are currently in isolation.

Since March 2020, there have been 4 032 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (1 951 females and 2 081 males. Forty-seven people have died as a result of the virus.

The public health laboratory has carried out 173 740 tests since February, last year.

The total number of first doses administered under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19 is 82 885, while 61 427 people have received second doses of the vaccine and are fully vaccinated against the virus. (BGIS)
