UPDATE: Three charged with murdering policeman

The three men charged with murdering a police officer were remanded until July 13 and are scheduled to reappear in other courts on separate charges.

Corey Antonio Morris, 43 of Egret Drive, Graeme Hall Park, Christ Church and also of Godding Road, Station Hill, St Michael; Jim Ron Fenty, 26 years, of 20B Down Hill Drive, Eden Lodge, St Michael and Jason Shamin Blenman, 26 years, of Powder Road, Station Hill, St  Michael, were not required to plead to the indictable charge.

They appeared before Acting Magistrate Jared Richards in the Holetown Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Morris, Fenty and Blenman are accused of murdering acting station sergeant Newton Lewis on May 22, 2021.

They are also to appear in District B on June 21, District A on June 22 on other charges.
