Tomorrow’s restart of the horseracing season, dubbed the Welcome Back raceday, should feature 143 horses in ten races.

The line-up is expected to have a whopping 47 three-year-olds, all maidens.

This exciting programme with a first race post time of 12:30 p.m., received the blessing of the Covid-19 Monitoring Unit following several meetings with the Barbados Turf Club (BTC).

With extremely strict protocols put in place for the sport’s eagerly anticipated resumption, as usual the top class horses garner all attention in the running of the Welcome Back Handicap over 1 570 metres around 4:30 p.m.  (LY)
