Overflowing skips on the sidewalk in Oistins should be a thing of the past thanks to a project conceptualised by Prosource and Eco Rebel.

A once derelict building in the area was given a facelift and will be the new hub for garbage collection in the area.

The event was part of a day billed as a daddy-daughter waste-warriors day and the building was decorated with a brightly-coloured mural depicting underwater marine life.

Children, their parents and even people from the community joined in the project. (HLE)
