George Keith Williams’ death on Father’s Day, following a vehicular accident the previous day, has been a double blow for both of his families.

On Saturday, around 9:35 p.m., the vehicle in which Williams, 52, was a passenger, struck a utility pole along the KNR Husbands Highway near Speightstown, St Peter.

Williams, of Bourbon, St Lucy, suffered serious head injuries and died around 1 p.m. at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH). He was one of three people in the vehicle.

Yesterday, his sons from his wife of over 20 years Denise Williams, from whom he was separated, said they had been looking forward to spending quality time with their father.

Meanwhile, the mother of his girlfriend said she and her family had planned a celebration for Williams on Sunday as that would have been his first Father’s Day with his third child. (SB)
