The man who was shot and killed at Deacons Road, St Michael on Friday night was identified as Shem Cummins.
The 29-year-old lived at nearby Block 4D, Neptune Road, Deacons Farm.
Police say they received the report around 10:20 p.m. Several gun shots were heard and a man was believed to be dead. Cummins’ body was discovered at the scene.
This is the tenth murder for 2021.
