A Dutch National will spend the next 28 days on remand at Her Majesty’s Prisons (HMP) Dodds.

Harold Vernon Christobal Sint Jago, 47, of Holland, Netherlands, was not required to plead to having a firearm and 13 rounds of 9 mm ammunition without a valid licence on June 22.

The self-employed man, however, today pleaded not guilty to possession of cocaine with intent to supply and traffic on the same date. The dugs weighed 1.1 kg and carried a street value of $55 000.

Sint Jago appeared before Magistrate Elwood Watts in the District “C” Magistrates’ Court, and was represented by Queen’s Counsel Michael Lashley, Faith Greaves-Agard, Justin Leacock, Sade Harris and Seantelle Parris.

He returns to court on July 26. (RA)
