Two new virus cases

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory identified two new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, both females, from the 730 tests conducted on Tuesday, June 29.

There are currently 34 people in isolation.

Since March 2020, 4 081 confirmed COVID-19 cases, comprising 1 978 females and 2 103 males, have been recorded, and 47 people have died from the viral illness.

The number of tests carried out by the public health laboratory is 185 776.

To date, 95 264 people have received first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine under the National Vaccination Programme, while 70 948 people have been given second doses and are fully vaccinated. (BGIS)
