Due to the inclement weather expected to affect Barbados on Friday, July 2, and the possibility of further deterioration, the main COVID-19 Testing Site at the Wildey Gymnasium in St Michael, will be closed from today, Thursday, July 1, until further notice.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness says this temporary closure is to allow for time to disassemble and secure infrastructure and equipment.

The Branford Taitt Polyclinic and the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic will remain open for testing, as long as conditions permit, to accommodate urgent cases.

All vaccination sites will be closed on Friday due to the expected passage of Tropical Storm Elsa. (BGIS)
