Barbados Water Authority (BWA) teams are currently repairing several known bursts across the island, including an eight-inch burst main in Proute Gully, St Thomas.

The BWA said this may affect water supply to customers in parts of St Thomas.

“All community tanks have been unlocked and are therefore accessible. They will continue to be topped up as necessary.

“Our tanker crews are also currently working in areas where water has not yet been restored. They will visit all affected areas over the course of the next 12 hours,” a statement from BWA said.

To report a service outage, customers may call 434-4292. (PR)
