No new virus cases

No new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases were recorded for the period Thursday, July 1, to Friday, July 2, from the 850 tests conducted.

There are 30 people in isolation.

Since March 2020, Barbados has recorded 4 082 confirmed COVID-19 cases – 1 978 females and 2 104 males. There have been 47 casualties from the virus.

The public health laboratory has carried out 187 178 tests, since February last year.

Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, 95 528 people have received first doses of the vaccine, and 71 494 people are fully vaccinated after receiving second doses. (BGIS)
