Police are treating the death of British visitor Valarie Phyllis Money, 80, as a sudden death.

A media statement said officers from the Hastings/Worthing station responded to a report at 6 Mix Bar, Worthings Main Road, Christ Church yesterday.

It was reported that about 6:25 p.m., a female was discovered dead on the floor of the female bathroom of the bar.

“The female was previously at the bar accompanied by her husband and her daughter (who found her dead),” the statement said.

Money was staying at South Gap Hotel, St Lawrence Gap, Christ Church.

She was reportedly last seen alive by her husband about ten minutes prior to being found dead.

Police said there was no evidence of foul play and the incident is being treated as a sudden death. (PR)
