The Royal Barbados Police Force is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing girl.

She is Alexandrea Patrice Vaughn, 14, of Little Diamond, St Elizabeth Village, St Joseph.

She left the home of her mother, Andrea Small, between the hours of 12:45 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and has not returned.

Vaughn is of medium build, brown complexion, about 5 feet 4 inches tall, with small eyes, small ears and small flat nose. She has a protruding forehead with a small scar and is full breasted. It is not known what she was wearing at the time.

According to police, Small went to work and left Vaughn in custody of a next door neighbour with whom she usually stays when Andrea goes to work.

About 6:30 p.m., Small received a call from another daughter who informed her that Alexandrea was not at home and she didn’t know her whereabouts. Their mother arrived home around 10:50 p.m. but Alexandrea was not at home. She made several futile enquiries before reporting the matter to the police.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Alexandrea Patrice Vaughn is asked to contact the District F – Belleplaine Station at 433-1540, police emergency 211 or any police station. (PR/SAT)
