West Indies Women’s captain Stafanie Taylor recaptured the No.1 position in batting, as well as in the list of all-rounders in the ICC Women’s One-day International Player Rankings.

Taylor earned the Player-of-the-Match award for taking three wickets during the Pakistan innings and scoring an unbeaten 105 in a superb effort that helped her side beat Pakistan by five wickets in the first ODI in Coolidge.

She gained four positions and displaced India captain Mithali Raj from the top of the batters’ list; moved three places to reach 16th position among bowlers; and gained two places to first among all-rounders, replacing Ellyse Perry of Australia.

Taylor, who has been No.1 on all three lists in the past at different points in time, first attained No.1 among batters in March 2012 and the last time she was at the top was in November 2014. In the all-rounders’ rankings, she was last No.1 in July 2017.

The latest weekly update, which includes performances in the first two ODIs of the West Indies-Pakistan series, also pushed all-rounder Deandra Dottin back in the rankings in 28th position among batsmen and 47th among all-rounders.

Kyshona Knight is also up seven places to 53rd among batsmen, while spinner Anisa Mohammed (up two places to 26th) and fast bowler Shamilia Connell (up four places to 39th) have moved up among bowlers.
