Anthony Amey sat slumped in a chair on his patio yesterday afternoon while reflecting on the good times he shared with partner Janice Mitchell.

His feelings were conflicted.

He felt defeated that they would be unable to relive those moments but he was also fuming about the way she died.

Janice, 58; her daughter Keisha Mitchell 40; and Keisha’s one-year-old daughter, were rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) early Saturday morning after a fire that started around 2:30 a.m. at their 1st Avenue Chapman Lane, St Michael home.

According to a police report, Keisha and her daughter are still in critical condition at the QEH, but Janice succumbed to her injuries she received in the blaze. (TG)
