UPDATE: Report of alleged robbery

Police officers are on the scene at Savings Plus Supermarket in Rock Dundo, St Michael, which is closed for the day following an alleged robbery.

When a Nation News team visited the St Michael location, an eyewitness said he saw two men, who appeared armed, walking away from the supermarket after 1 p.m.

At 3:30 p.m., staff were seen exiting the building and locking the supermarket doors.

Staff members, who did not wish to be identified, said they saw one of the alleged assailants with a gun. (CA)
