Winnipeg – Reigning champion jockey Antonio Whitehall won twice while Trinidadian Stanley Chadee Jr added another brace, as the pair dominated the seven-race card at Assiniboia Downs on Monday in Manitoba.

Barbadian Whitehall captured race five with 7-1 choice Sea Myrtle before following up in race seven with 5-1 chance Elsie’s Wish.

Chadee, meanwhile, took race one with 2-1 bet Tiger by His Tail and returned in race two with favourite True Scout, to also grab his share of success in western Canada.

With his double, Chadee now has 25 wins but is still 17 wins adrift of leader Jorge Carreno in second, with Jamaican Leroy Nelson third on 23 wins. (CMC)
