Seventeen-year-old Lashawn Shaquon Hinds was remanded to HMP Dodds until August 23 when he appeared in the Holetown Magistrates Court on Monday.
Hinds, of Lower Carlton, St James, was charged with aggravated burglary and rape from a home invasion which is reported to have taken place on July 4.
He appeared before Magistrate Wayne Clarke and was not required to enter a plea to the indictable charges. (PR/SAT)
