A 34-year-old St Michael woman is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday on gun crimes.
She is Raquel Shaheda Karimah Thompson of #5 Harmony Circle, The Belle.
Police say acting on information received, members of the Antigun and Gangs and Tactical Response Units executed a search warrant at the house where they allegedly discovered a firearm and ammunition.
Thompson is scheduled to appear in the District “A” Criminal Court on Tuesday.
She is charged with possession of a firearm when she did not have a valid licence to do so and possession of eight rounds of ammunition when she did not have a valid permit to do so. (PR/SAT)
