One hundred and three students from four primary schools assembled at the Frederick Smith Secondary School this morning to take this year’s Common Entrance Examination.

The students from St Albans, St Silas, Good Shepherd and Welches Primary are among thousands sitting the examination today.

Unlike previous years, parents and guardians were not allowed onto the school compound but instead had to drop their charges off at the gate.

Once inside, students went through the customary coronavirus (COVID-19) protocols of hand sanitising and temperature checks before a short assembly and prayer session. They were then escorted to the examination rooms.

Principal at Frederick Smith Steven Jackman said things went smoothly even though there were a few hiccups which were dealt with promptly. The exam got underway around 9:10 a.m. (DB)
