Peter Douglas Prescod was a hard-working man who helped many in his community, said his sister Mondel Quimby.

The siblings both live in Greenidges, St Lucy, a few houses from each other. The grieving Quimby said they often worked together, adding her brother was also a farmer and a fisherman.

“He was hard working. He would work with me processing chickens or he would work in the ground or he would catch fish and sell. I don’t know how or what happened [to him],” she said.

Police reported they received a call about 2:05 p.m. on Tuesday that a man was found in an unconscious state at an area known as Agent Bay, Cluffs, St Lucy, who turned out to be Prescod. He was later pronounced dead by a medical doctor at the scene.
