The death of a 30-year-old St John man is being investigated by police after they were alerted by medical personnel from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH).

Jeff Anderson Mullin of Church View was a patient in the Accident & Emergency Department around 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday when the report was made to police.

He presented with “some gravely ill symptoms” and medical personnel “requested that police should be informed of the circumstances for which he (the patient) was seeking medical attention”.

Police responded and interviewed Mullin, who passed away around 4:40 a.m. on Wednesday.

The condition for which he was being treated was not revealed, but police investigations are continuing. (PR/SAT)
