Some welfare cheques dated August 13 and 27 will be delayed due to a glitch in the Welfare Department’s computer system.
In a statement issued today by Barbados Government Information Service, the Chief Welfare Officer said the situation has been rectified and affected clients will receive their cheques during the week of August 16 to 20. Any inconvenience caused is regretted. (Welfare Department)
