UPDATE: Fatal accident in St Andrew

The man who died in a collision at Cleland Hill, St Andrew has been identified as Damien Lynch.

The 35 year old of Long Gap, Grazettes, St Michael, was driving a Sanitation Service Authority truck at the time of the accident.

Everton Morris, 60, of Franklyn Road, Belleplaine, St Andrew, was the driver of the other vehicle, a car, and was reported to be unhurt. However, he indicated he would seek private medical attention.

The accident occurred around 3:10 p.m. and both vehicles were extensively damaged.

This was the 11th road fatality for 2021. (PR/SAT)
