Barbadians will continue to be under a COVID-19 curfew until September 5.

The latest extension was published in The Official Gazette under the Emergency Management (COVID-19) (Curfew) (No. 15) Directive, 2021.

The curfew will remain from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. daily, commencing on August 23.

Most of the conditions under the previous directive remain unchanged.

However, on Saturday during her address to the nation, Prime Minister Mia Mottley announced a decrease in the number of people at some events, namely limes and picnics which will be reduced from 40 to 20. Night clubs will not be allowed to open, but the conditions will be the same for churches, weddings and funerals.  (SAT)
