Favourite Dream Society, under Affrie Ward, will put his three-race winning streak on the line in the 71st running of the Grade 1 Barbados Guineas over 1 570 metres today at the historic Garrison Savannah.

The Guineas is programmed to be the feature on the eight-race card with a purse of $59 250.

It will be the seventh and penultimate race on the card, dubbed the Barbados Guineas and Barbados Thoroughbred Breeders Association (BTBA) Classic race day, and is scheduled to be contested at 4:25 p.m.

The Guineas will be the first jewel of the Barbados triple crown series for the best West Indian bred three-year-olds.

Unbeaten over this distance, Dream Society has been nothing but impressive, and the Ryan Moseley-owned colt can expect a tough battle with Bazodee Gyal, People’s Champ, and De Conkie Man. (LY)
