The National Petroleum Corporation (NPC) office at Wildey, St Michael, is closed until further notice after one of its team members tested positive for COVID-19.

The company has been in constant contact with the relevant authorities on this matter to ensure the safety of staff, customers and members of the public.

Contact tracing was conducted within the organisation and affected team members were identified and quarantined.

The NPC has already undertaken a deep cleaning and sanitising process of its offices. During this period, and pending clearance from the authorities for the teams to resume work, staff will attend to emergencies only.

In the interim, staff will work remotely to serve customers. To report a gas leak or to have a customer service query answered, please call 430-4000 and select 2 for Customer Service.

The NPC will continue to work with the relevant authorities to ensure all national guidelines are followed and customers and the public will be informed of its reopening.

The Corporation thanks it customers and members of the public for their understanding and support in this matter. (BGIS)
