Barbados defender Krystian Pearce has signed a contract to play for English National League North club Hereford.

Pearce, 31, agreed on personal terms and joins the Bulls from Boreham Wood Football Club on a free transfer.

“It was a move I made based on a lot of things. I liked the manager’s vision and his philosophies for the club, he made me feel wanted and appreciated which is massive for any player and I also wanted to be closer to home and with my family,” Pearce told NATION SPORT after the deal was completed.

So far, Pearce who started his career at Birmingham City and played for England Under-19, has made seven appearances for Barbados’ senior national football team.

He featured versus Panama, Anguilla and Dominican Republic in the FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifiers in June and in the preliminary round of the Concacaf Gold Cup in Miami last month where Barbados were thrashed 8-1 by Bermuda. (AGB)
