On Sunday, the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) will be replacing two leaking valves in Warrens Hill, St Michael.

This work, which is scheduled to take place between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., should result in low pressure or water outages to residents in Millennium Heights, Arthur Seat, Welches Grove and surrounding areas.

Residents are asked to store an adequate supply of water to assist themselves during the day on Sunday and water tanker crews will also be dispatched to assist people in the affected districts.

Meanwhile, the BWA is also installing a connection to a new storage tank in St Lucy and connecting a new transmission main which runs from Benthams to Trents.

This work requires the shutdown of a Pumping Station in the area and will result in low pressure or water outages to a number of St Lucy districts until about 7 p.m. today. (PR/SAT)
