Residents of Jackson Terrace, St Michael, are in shock following the shooting of two men in the area on Tuesday night.

Police reported the men, whose identities have not been revealed, were shot around 7:54 p.m. near the Arsenal Playing Field. One received injuries to the face and both shoulders, and the other to his right knee.

They were transported separately by private vehicles to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Colin Brewster was relaxing in his porch at the junction leading to Jackson Terrace Stage 1. He said issues of violence usually revolved around gangs and drugs but were not a feature of the area. (CA)
