Police have reached out to the Welfare Department and other Government agencies for assistance with a man who was found wandering on Wednesday.

He has been identified as Bentley Webster (Junior), 27, formerly of Happy Cot, Bank Hall, St Michael.

Lawmen contacted his father, who “for reasons unknown, refuses to allow his son back at the house”.

Webster was seen wandering in the area of Winston Scott Polyclinic around 6:55 a.m. and police at the Hastings/Worthing station issued a public appeal for assistance in identifying him and locating relatives.

Editor’s Note: Webster was collected from the police station by a member of the family on Wednesday night.
