Man charged with serious offences remanded

Jared Stephen Highland-Best, 20, of #75 Apes Hill Development, Apes Hill, St James who was charged with a number of serious offences, including the murder of Kemar Grazettes, was remanded when he appeared at the District ‘D’ Magistrates Court, Cane Garden, St Thomas today.

Highland-Best appeared before Magistrate Wanda Blair. He was not required to plea to any of the offences, which are all indictable.

He was remanded into custody at Her Majesty’s Prison, Dodds, St Philip. He is scheduled to reappear at the District ‘A’ Criminal Court on Tuesday, October 12. (PR)
