Education officials will update the country about the start of the 2021-2022 school year tomorrow.

Minister of Education Santia Bradshaw revealed that yesterday when asked if private schools would be allowed to resume face-to-face classes when the new term begins on September 20.

Although she did not provide specifics, Bradshaw told the Weekend Nation they were working on guidelines that will be shared with Barbadians shortly.

“We are working presently on a road map for schools, so I will be speaking to the country on Saturday regarding that road map and how we intend to deal with both public and private schools given everything that is going on,” Bradshaw said.  (TG)
