Deaths related to COVID-19 reach 59

A 50-year-old St Lucian woman, who resided in Barbados, has succumbed to novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

The woman died on Sunday, September 19, at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility. She spent eight days in primary isolation.

She had co-morbidities and was unvaccinated.

The death toll from the virus now stands at 59.

Minister of Health and Wellness Jeffrey Bostic extends condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. (BGIS)
