Barbadian jockey Rico Walcott made it a memorable weekend in the saddle for the Walcott brothers with a hat-trick on Sunday at Century Mile racetrack in Canada.

Walcott matched his elder brother Rickey, the most successful rider on Saturday’s race card at the Garrison Savannah in Barbados with the same number of wins, including the feature September Remember Handicap.

The younger Walcott won the final three races on the eight-race card at the track in the western Canadian city of Edmonton in the province of Alberta.

On the Canadian east coast, five Barbadian horsemen had success on Sunday at the Woodbine racetrack, the country’s main racing oval, where world-renowned reinsman Frankie Dettori dominated.
