Rapist wants matters over with

Date:

Self-confessed rapist Kinchar Kenny Lavonne Mascoll has expressed his frustration at the length of time it is taking for his cases to be concluded.

And the presiding judge has echoed his sentiments but said it was up to the defence attorney in the matter.

Mascoll, of Drax Hall Jump, St George, was back before the No. 2 Supreme Court yesterday, this time via Zoom.

In October 2019, Mascoll pleaded guilty to raping a then 15-year-old girl on December 1, 2015.

In August 2020, he pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman occasioning her actual bodily harm, as well as raping and buggering her, all on December 17, 2015. However, weeks later he disputed some of the facts in the matter, even though he maintained he was still pleading guilty. (HLE)
