Vic Fernandes is chairman of BNOCL

Vic Fernandes is chairman of the Board of Directors of the Barbados National Oil Company Limited.

He took up the post on July 1, 2021, and brings with him a wealth of knowledge, especially when it comes to the business landscape in Barbados and the region.

He succeeds Alex McDonald, who is now Barbados’ High Commissioner to Kenya and permanent representative to the United Nations Office at Nairobi. 

Fernandes is a Hall of Fame broadcaster with over 40 years as a CEO and managing director in Barbados and across the region.

He is the longest serving elected president of The Caribbean Broadcasting Union and has chaired several boards in Barbados, most recently The Grantley Adams International Airport.

He is currently chairman of Barbados Golf Club and Capital Media HD. (PR/SAT)
