Officials investigating fire in Belleville

Police and fire officials are conducting investigations into an early morning fire at 3rd Avenue Belleville, St Michael.

There are no reported injuries and the fire and water damage has been restricted to the western side of the property which houses the Pine Dispensary.

The blaze was brought under control about 6:30 a.m. and a thorough search of the building was made by fire personnel.

Police received the report about 5 a.m. on Friday and quickly responded. On arrival, they found a team of 18 firemen and four tenders under the charge of Station Commander Mayers was already on the scene. (PR/SAT)
