As COVID-19 cases and deaths rise, Government continued its ramped up vaccination schedule, which includes taking the vaccines to the people.

And today, the Mobile Vaccination Unit was set up at Pebbles Beach, St Michael.

A line of people was already waiting before the unit started its work, coming to get first and second doses. Health personnel were trying to keep people’s spirits high with jovial banter as they administered the jab, since some were apprehensive about the needles.

Those seeking the injection appreciated the environment as it was breezy and there was shade under the trees from the sweltering sun. It was also a short distance from where some of them lived.

Another mobile unit was also at Cost-U-Less, in Welches, St Thomas. (CA)
